Local Notice to Mariners
There has been no official notice, but dredging operations have begun in Channel Islands Harbor.
Yesterday, 3/16, the dredge was right on the shoal that currently blocks 1/2 the channel. They also had massive amounts of pipeline positioned just inside the breakwater. The Harbormaster had and may still have a boat stationed near by to direct traffic. Contact Dredge Morris or Channel Islands Harborpatrol on #16 for traffic advisories.
